Fredrick N. Page

Fred has been collecting and evaluating art for nearly four decades. He bought his first Picasso print while in the Navy and began in the art business as an auctioneer with Sloan’s in Washington D. C. In 1979 he took a position with Sotheby’s in Los Angeles as an appraiser, and started his own firm in 1985. Since then he’s been serving enthusiastic art collectors of all kinds, concentrating on clients in the film and entertainment industries. He prepares appraisals for insurance, divorce and estate settlements, and provides collateral support for lending institutions. He often advises his clients on art sales and acquisitions, and supports their museum donations.

In 2007 Fred opened offices in Corona Del Mar in Newport Beach so he could watch those amazing Pacific Coast sunsets from his desk and easily reach clients throughout Southern California. Fred was on the Laguna Beach Art Museum’s Collections Committee for many years, and was a Trustee of the Museum in 2006-2008.

In 2017 PAI expanded into the San Francisco Bay area and now has its HQ in Point Richmond. Fred commutes regularly to visit clients in Los Angeles & Orange County.

When Fred’s not examining his clients’ artwork in California and the West, he’s visiting an art museum or gallery, riding his bike, or climbing a local mountain with the Sierra Club.
